Key to Crystal Serum Ultras performance gain is the introduction of a revolutionary new 7nm nanoparticle alongside an existing 20nm nanoparticle and increasing the ratio of crosslinkers which reinforce and thicken the top layer of the coating.
The hard 10h top and softer 7h base layer offer improved swirl resistance over regular 9h paint protection coatings. Compared to standard ceramic paint coatings, Crystal Serum Ultra can withstand even the strongest wash chemicals and bird droppings.
An additional benefit from having a flexible base layer and the hard top layer is that Crystal Serum Ultra is very resistant to extreme heat changes, even from -40 degrees Celsius to +250 degrees Celsius.

Why Use Gtechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer?
C1 is ideal for someone new to ceramic coatings, or for someone who wants a coating that is durable, but not too pricey.
With great gloss retention, C1 Crystal Lacquer becomes the functional surface of the car’s paintwork, and when applied by a Gtechniq Accredited Detailer (We are) comes with a 5 year guarantee.
C1 forms a crystalline film which is hard – this characteristic makes it effective at preventing minor scratching from poor wash technique on relatively soft automotive paint.
C1 is great for gloss retention, but the paint correction is the base for the gloss with this coating. However, because it does not add much additional gloss it is ideal for matte paint finishes.

Why Use Gtechniq HALO Flexible Film Coating?
HALO enhances the performance of Paint Protection Film (PPF) and vinyl. It’s a chemically bonding, ultra-dense flexible film that becomes the permanent surface of the film – protecting it from the elements a car faces on a daily basis.

What Is Hydrophobic Coating?
Hydrophobic coating is a multi-purpose, water-repellent coating. Many people use hydrophobic coating as a sealant for bikes, boats, automobiles, and more to protect paint jobs and prolong the lifespan of the paint. Most hydrophobic coatings have a material mixture known as fluorinated polyurethane elastomer. Applying a hydrophobic coating to a surface, such as an automobile, helps repel fog and moisture. This makes it easier to see when you are driving while providing paint protection and rust prevention. These coatings usually last about one year before you need to reapply.

Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer

Why Use Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer?
C4 utilises a chemical bond to become an extension of the plastic molecule it is protecting.
The coating swaps part of its molecular structure with the surface molecules of your car’s trim. This means that you have a protective coating of unparalleled durability.
Unlike many trim products on the market, C4 is exceptionally thin (circa 30 nanometers) optically clear film – this means it will not add an unattractive gloss finish to the surface. Friction protection is particularly important on seat bolsters, seat piping and any other high wear areas. The anti stain function is most relevant for light coloured leathers which are typically stained by dark coloured fabrics such as indigo jeans.
L1 gives up to 12 months durability depending on how high-wear the area protected is.
Myth buster
Many leather products market themselves on how they feed leather, when in fact this is not needed. Modern automotive leather uses synthetic fat liquors which do not evaporate. Any product that is designed to feed leathers will not be absorbed by modern automotive leathers but instead, remain on the surface attracting dirt which will then act as an abrasive foreshortening the leathers finish.

Ceramic coating any vehicle will give you all the features you’ve heard and read on a ceramic coating. But the why will be different for each person. And so will the coating that is right for you. You might have a busy schedule and just need your vehicle to be easy to clean and maintain. Because other than driving it occasionally it sits in a garage all day. Or you might work in a plant or construction and your vehicle sits on dirty job sites all day with lots of chemicals that could damage your paint. Each of these customers had a different need and so the ‘why’ is different.
A ceramic coating may not be the right option for you, but that is what we are here for. We will figure out what protection system will perform best for you, give you our professional recommendation, and then allow you to decide what is best.

You can as the wax will not damage any of our coatings. But we recommend you don’t for a number of reasons. Firstly, if you have an extremely hydrophobic product such as EXO or C2, the wax will dull this effect. Also all our coatings are designed to prevent contaminant bonding and are non-yellowing. Wax on the other hand is a soft finish into which contaminants easily bond and wax is not optically clear.

So long as you install a ceramic coating properly then no coatings will ever peel or flake. But if you do not remove residue as instructed, the excess product can peel, flake or turn into a white crystalline powder. This is why we always recommend a professional install on a coating. There are many things that can go wrong if you don’t know how to install a coating.

Crystal Serum Ultra forms a composite of two inorganic layers of ceramic. The slightly softer layer migrates to and chemically bonds to the substrate (it can bond to any type of gel coat, vinyl and all kinds of paint – eg clear coat, acrylic, nitro-cellulose, two-pack, solid paint, metallic paint, pearlescent, urethane, polyurethane, matte etc.) whilst the thinner harder layer migrates to the surface. This combination offers significantly better swirl resistance than standard ceramic coatings (including so called 9h “super coatings”), plus Crystal Serum Ultra is resistant to the strongest acids and alkalis. It is also resistant to temperatures up to 500 degrees Celsius.

Yes! In fact due to it’s chemical bonding mechanism, Crystal Serum Ultra, Crystal Serum Ultra Light and C1 become the functional surface of your vehicle’s paintwork. In essence they bond permanently to your vehicle’s paintwork. Our stock answer to the question “how long does C1 or Crystal Serum Ultra last?” is that this is the wrong question. The right question is how particular you are about your paintwork and how carefully you clean your paintwork. If you are, like us, very very fussy about swirls etc. on your paintwork but at the same time have a poor wash technique then, even though Serum Ultra is highly and C1 is somewhat resistant to swirls, you may find that you will want your car to be repolished in a shorter period than someone who is less particular about swirls but uses a very good wash technique.
